PCB Design Companion is a specialized application tailored to support PCB designers in their professional endeavors. It features a variety of essential calculators that are crucial for enhancing efficiency in PCB design.

This application includes four key calculators:

1. Trace Width Calculator: This tool calculates current, resistance, and voltage drop for specified trace widths. It also provides the necessary trace width based on specific current ratings and temperature conditions.
2. PCB Via Calculator: Available in the Pro version, this calculator offers insights into PCB via ratings, including current, resistance, voltage drop, and thermal resistance.
3. Spiral Inductor Calculator: This Pro version feature allows users to design inductors on PCBs, accommodating square, hexagonal, and octagonal shapes.
4. Trace Impedance Calculator: Users can determine trace impedance through four major configurations: microstrip, embedded, stripline, and dual stripline. This functionality ensures impedance calculations are readily accessible.
